Steady Work, Nationwide

Cura manages roughly 1,000 environmental events a year through a network of more than 1,000 prequalified contractors, covering all 50 states, 24/7/365.

Because Cura owns no disposal sites and no response crews of its own, we have no captive capacity to fill before we call you. We dispatch the closest qualified contractor to the incident. That’s the whole model, and it’s why our contractor relationships are measured in decades rather than jobs.

A Defined Scope. And a Straight Answer When It Moves.

Ambiguity is what turns a profitable job into an argument. Every Cura dispatch arrives with the work already defined.

We know on-site conditions change: the release is bigger than reported, the soil tells a different story, or the regulator asks for more. When scope creeps, our incident managers document the change, communicate it to the client in real time, and get the revised work authorized, so the job you’re doing and the job that’s approved stay the same job.

We do review contractor scope and invoices; that’s a cost-control function we perform for our clients. But that review runs against the authorized scope, not against you. Because changes get flagged and approved as they happen, there’s no surprise at invoice time, for you or for the client.

What We Look For

Cura’s clients rely on our network being vetted before an incident, not during one. We prequalify on:

  • Certification – 40-hour HAZWOPER trained personnel; DOT hazardous materials certification where applicable
  • Insurance – current general liability, auto liability and pollution liability coverage
  • Response capability – documented mobilisation times and 24/7 reachability
  • Equipment – owned or reliably subcontracted equipment appropriate to your stated capabilities
  • Regulatory standing – applicable state licences and EPA identification
  • Adherence to Cura’s SOPs – our standardised remediation procedures let our Onsite Services team process waste efficiently on arrival, which keeps project costs and on-site hours down for everyone

Prequalification is a one-time process. Once you’re in the network, dispatch is a phone call.

Cura pays on time. Most other brokers stretch 90–120 days. Cura is financially stable enough to pay us directly and then wait for payment from their customer.

Vice President, regional environmental & emergency-response contractor August 14, 2026

When we work in the emergency response world, we take on a lot of risk, especially when it comes to getting paid. Working with Cura removes this burden. Cura already has the contract in place and won’t get into a position where payment isn’t secured.

Whether a project goes good, bad, or sideways, Cura takes the brunt of it. Cura is essentially saying, ‘Yep, this is the contractor I hired. This is on me.’

VP of Sales Regional (Mid-Atlantic) Environmental Emergency-response Contractor · 15-year partnership June 24, 2026

There are never any ‘gotcha’ moments. Cura defends their contractors thoroughly — which is rare and deeply appreciated in this industry.

It is highly important to have broker access to multi-site accounts. Partnering with Cura cuts down on our need for direct outreach. I don’t have to have a sales team going out to sell to those customers — Cura does that for us. I gain access to its customer base overnight.

Area Manager Regional (Southeast) Spill-response Contractor · 29-year relationship June 24, 2026

When Cura calls, we go — come hell or high water.

VP of Sales Regional (Mid-Atlantic) Environmental Emergency-response Contractor June 24, 2026

Cura is a breath of fresh air in an industry often characterized by negativity. Their team is consistently positive and warm — you can feel this culture with almost anyone you speak to at the company.

The secret sauce is Cura’s employees. They are easy to work with, they get it, and they’re happy. You only get that level of customer service from employees who are engaged, who care, and who are happy.

My satisfaction with Cura is at the maximum — five out of five — no doubt about it. We’ve stopped working with most other brokers and now work almost exclusively with Cura.

Director of Safety National LTL Freight Carrier June 23, 2026

What I want is for one of my staff to make a single phone call to Cura and have them handle the situation from start to finish — no babysitting, no handholding. Make the call, hang up, and wait for the invoice.

I work with all the major brokers. I have and will always say Cura is the best out of the bunch.

Director of Safety National Trucking & Logistics Company National LTL Freight Carrier June 23, 2026

Cura has helped us out tremendously on multiple things by providing a service we can’t do without. It’s definitely a partnership.

Division VP National Commercial Insurance Carrier · 10-year relationship June 23, 2026

The worst time to be looking for an emergency responder is during an emergency. Cura’s providers are pre-identified, which ensures our insureds receive the best value on the response.

Director of Safety National LTL Freight Carrier June 23, 2026

Cura’s waste minimization saved us a ton of money. If I compare what Cura provides now versus five years ago, their cost savings are a ten out of five.

General Manager Regional (Midwest) Spill Response Subcontractor June 24, 2026

Cura is probably the best broker in the country. Even as the company grows, everybody coming in has a broad range of knowledge, and the company is well-managed.

Cura stands out because its managers have superior field knowledge and understanding of the industry lingo. That is a key differentiator compared to other brokers, whose project managers might not know the field as well as Cura’s managers do.

Environmental Manager National Cold-Storage & Logistics Provider June 23, 2026

In the 13 years I’ve worked with them, Cura has never once told me they couldn’t send somebody out.

Environmental Manager National Cold-Storage & Logistics Provider June 23, 2026

What blows my mind is that Cura keeps detailed state-by-state compliance notes in their system for every adjuster to access. An adjuster can look at a case and immediately know exactly what they need to do.

Environmental Manager National Cold-Storage & Logistics Provider June 23, 2026

Cura was on-site within two hours, in direct contact with the regulators. They worked so thoroughly that the agency decided not to fine us — a fine that could have been $25,000.

Environmental Programs Manager National Equipment-Rental Company (25+ year client) July 20, 2026

Cura has spearheaded a beneficial-reuse program that no one else has caught up to yet. They offer services you simply can’t get elsewhere. Without Cura, we’d have ‘dark areas’ where we lack people to respond — instead, their network means we don’t have to send everything to one of the few disposal or incinerator facilities in the country.

Environmental Programs Manager National LTL Freight Carrier June 23, 2026

Cura’s responsiveness is phenomenal. Their field teams are impeccable and on top of everything. I could not be more satisfied.

Administrative Manager National Foodservice Distribution Company June 23, 2026

I would rate my willingness to recommend Cura as ten out of ten.
