Frequently Asked Questions

Cura Environmental Solutions is your command center in the environmental and hazmat arena. We bring the expertise, the industry relationships, and the field-tested experience to direct a rapid, cost-effective response to any emergency spill. We are an advanced, innovative, and independent group of degreed professionals who manage thousands of spills and tens of thousands of items for disposal or reuse annually, covering a broad spectrum of environmentally sensitive incidents from fuels to acids to oxidizers. Our managers hold multi-disciplinary professional certifications, contribute to civic and educational initiatives, and bring deep expertise across emergency management, ecology, engineering, reclamation, agriculture, economics, and environmental science.

When you have a fuel or chemical spill, we assess the situation, execute a measured initial response, direct the cleanup, manage the regulatory agencies, secure site closure, and deliver a full after-action review. We manage every spill as if it were our own because your liability is our responsibility.

Our pricing is straightforward: time and materials, nothing more. We require no exclusive-use contract, no retainer or membership fee, and no referral or “finder’s” fees from our subcontractors. This structure keeps our pricing simple, fair, and transparent for clients and preserves the unbiased, third-party oversight we bring to managing our subcontractors.

No, unlike a “spill broker” or TPA, which typically fills a passive, administrative role, Cura puts qualified professionals on the ground. We represent your interests at the site, drive compliance and closure, and scrutinize operations and invoicing to keep costs in line with the actual work performed.

Four things: independence, personal service, experience, and simplicity. Because we are a fully independent service, the management of your project is never influenced by outside or competing agendas, and we own no disposal facilities that could bias where your waste goes. Every spill is assigned to a single manager responsible for your project from first call to final closure. That manager knows regulatory and industry standards cold because they are working spill projects every single day. Our goal is simple: clean up and close your site in the shortest timeframe possible, with the simplest work plan that gets it done right.

Once you are an active client, you gain pre-approved access to our 24-hour, toll-free spill hotline. The moment you have an incident, one call activates us and we take command of the response.

Contact us by email, by phone, or through the request-for-information form on this site. A member of our team will follow up promptly to complete your onboarding paperwork typically within a few business days.

Not for that purpose. Our reporting line is not configured to satisfy DOT regulatory requirements under 49 §CFR 172.604, and we do not provide an SDS or emergency-contact service for those regulatory purposes. For DOT emergency-response telephone requirements, you’ll need a dedicated provider such as CHEMTREC.
