Ohio Onsite Service Technician
As an Onsite Service Technician- you will be responsible for understanding the waste streams generated onsite, the segregation of “good” vs “bad” product, the waste outlets, and
reuse/recycle outlets. You will be working in the the Great Lakes region (OH, PA, IN, MI). An ideal candidate would be in the
Wilmington area, but we are open to other cities as well.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily/weekly segregation of waste and reuse materials, record keeping, and labeling.
- Understand the importance of proper product consolidation and waste disposal options.
- Capable to cross train at multiple customer locations, in various regions
- Special assignments or tasks completed per request
- Report daily job metrics back to management
- Arrive to accounts at scheduled time
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2-3 year experience in waste management and/or recycling
- DOT, OHSA and Hazwoper training plus
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Agree to travel when necessary
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Operate all available equipment (forklift, drum dolly, etc.)
- Must thrive in a team-based organization , while exhibiting proficient communication skills through various outlets
- Must be able to read and follow written work instructions
- Must be a safety minded, safety-oriented , and detail-oriented individual
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical ,routine background and DMV check
- Strong work history a must
